Background

Earth 2132, Terrans have taken to the stars. In this age of exploration and discovery, the Corporations lead the way. These Corporations are nations in itself. Using there vast resources, the Corporations field there own militaries and research vessels to discover new worlds that are ripe for mineral extraction. At times, the corporations use there military to wage war with one another for control of planets or entire solar systems.

Present Setting

The planet New Avalon, located in the Xerxes system -2182, This tranquil planet will become the graveyard for millions of lives as the corporations battle for control of the planet and its resources of rare metals. Despite the vast resources that the planet holds, New Avalon holds a far darker secret that will change the course of Terran history forever.

Factions

Kruger Engineering - This corporation is known for its large scale design and construction of some of the largest starships and structures in the galaxy. They control much of the plains of Dorgon along the coast of the Acrea sea. These rolling hills have seen the birth of some of the best land fighting units around. There strength lies in overwhelming ground superiority. They possess exellent ground units with great firepower and armor, however there air and sea units have been somewhat neglected.

Druman Heavy Construction - This corporation is known for its ability to construct vast spacecraft support structures such as the orbital elevators, spaceyards and spaceports that dot the galaxy. They control Much of the mountainous regions on New Avalon. This uneven terrain and lack of access to the sea has allowed them to focus there efforts on building aircraft. As a result the have been the master of the skies in there territories on New Avalon.

Cordon Defence Industries - This corporation is the most advanced of the four. Not much is known about what they have done, however, they are the chief producer of some of the best military equipment in the known universe. They control one of the smaller continents on New Avalon and keep to themselves most of the time.

Kaltech Mining - This corporation made its wealth with its mining endeavors across many worlds in the galaxy. There persuit of money has lead them to discover many veins of ore that have been previously undiscovered. Here on New Avalon, they control one of the many chains of islands. This abundance of water has lead them to focus the power in there navies.

Units

I have planed for many types of units that each side will possess. These range from simple scout vehicles and troops, to immense experimental weapons that have unrivaled power. Most notably I intend to include regular infantry. Im still tryig to work out if they will be very effective. They will be cheap and can hold there own against small groups of units and make exellent scouts for the army. Each side will feature there own unique selection of units. Each faction might have the same purpose for there units, but they will have radically different strengths and weaknesses.

Highlights

*Hundreds of units ranging from small groups of infantry all the way to massive experimentals and everything in between.
*An epic story that will span across 7 campaigns with many twists and turns along the way. (These will most likely be episodic releases)
*No rock-paper-scissors mechanic. If a faction is good at tanks, they will have good tanks that beat the tanks of other factions quite easily. (I want to try and keep this in the mod, however it might prove to be to unbalanced)
*Wage war across the planet from the scorching deserts to the frozen artic and icebergs.
*Wide array of choices on how you wish to make war. Do you go for fast units for hit-n-run attacks or focus on strategic bombing and bomb your opponent into submission.
